What conditions do you treat?
At Kinkaya, our GPs care for everyone (big or small) through all stages of life. We're here for the coughs & colds through to planning & assisting in the ongoing management of your health.
We help with everyday health issues, offer check-ups & vaccinations, provide advice to keep you well, & coordinate care if you need to see a specialist.
Our focus is on whole-person care that supports good health.
While our medical & nursing teams all have extensive emergency department experience, if you do have a medical emergency such breathing difficulties, uncontrolled bleeding, the patient is seizing or unconscious- please call 000 for immediate ambulance assistance.

Do you treat adults?
Yes we do.
We will continue to ensure we are providing the expertise to meet the needs of kids with our GP services as there is a real need for this.
We also want to be here for the rest of the family too.

Do you offer Telehealth appointments?
In general Telehealth appointments will be limited to follow up appointments for adults.
We generally won't use Telehealth for kids as their assessment is much different to an adult.
Kids, especially very young ones, aren't very good at explaining their symptoms so we need to use a lot more objective tests and observations to assess their condition which at this stage needs to be done in-person.
Their condition can also change rapidly in a short period of time so we like to keep kids in our care while treating them.

Where can I get help after hours?
Our Urgent Care service is open every day from 8am until 10pm.
Kinkaya Urgent Care provides on-demand medical care for injuries and illnesses that aren't life threatening.
We are here for when you need help, but don't need to be adding to the numbers at the emergency department.
Kinkaya Urgent Care is a walk-in service. Not booking is required and wait times are typically less than 30min.
For non-emergency assistance after 10pm you can call Dial-A Doctor on 1300 030 030 or visit their website dial-a-doctor.com.au
