Welcome to Kinkaya.
'We've worked in emergency departments around Australia for over a decade learning how to expertly negotiate the Australian health system.
Little did we know that our real education would begin with the birth of our first son.
being on the 'other side' of the experience, we were struck by the anxiety of taking a child to an emergency department.
We knew things could be better so we have founded Kinkaya to lead that change."
Drs Smriti Shah & Justin Withnall.

-
How are you different to a GP?
Our set up is similar to an emergency department with the equipment and expanded medical team to handle a much larger range of illnesses and injuries.
We have designed the clinic to be able to spend more time with patients to assess their needs and keep them in our care to make sure they are OK.
While we have a very experienced team, we are not a replacement for the emergency department.
If you have a serious illness or injury please call 000 for immediate assistance.
-
Do you just treat kids?
Not at all. We will happily assist anyone in need who comes in to the clinic, however our specialty is kids through to young adults.
Kinkaya Urgent Care is the first of its kind facility in WA, designed specifically to meet the needs of young people.
