What is Urgent Care?
Band-aids and ice-cream only go so far...
Kinkaya is a place where clinical expertise combines with strong family values.
It’s a place where the team bring our own families, because the care we provide is the same care we would want for our own children.
At Kinkaya, the way we care doesn’t begin and end with the treatment - it lasts as long as it takes for kids of all ages (and the people who care for them) to start feeling better.
Our clinic is purpose‑built to care for kids. We take the time to listen properly, so our expertise can be applied thoughtfully and effectively. We never rush families through concerns, and every question is just as easily welcomed as the heartfelt thanks our team often receives.
All of this comes from a simple belief: the best care for kids comes when expertise combines with family values.
Care that comes from a place of experience, given without compromise, from people you love and trust.
That belief shapes everything we do at Kinkaya.
And it’s why our promise is simple.

-
How does your Urgent Care differ to an Emergency Department?
Our Urgent Care services are set up similar to an emergency department with the equipment and expanded medical team to handle a large range of illnesses and injuries.
We have designed the clinic to be able to spend the required time with patients to assess their needs and keep them in our care to make sure they are OK.
While we have a very experienced team, we are not a replacement for the emergency department. We simply do not have the range of infrastructure, specialty services and necessary resources to manage serious emergency situations.
If you have a serious illness or injury please call 000 for immediate assistance.
-
Do you just treat kids?
Not at all. We will happily assist anyone in need who comes in to the clinic, however our specialty is kids through to young adults.
Kinkaya Urgent Care is the first of its kind facility in WA, designed specifically to meet the needs of young people.
